Pork Bone Stew
I come to this place way too often. Every time I am downtown, i find myself eating at Thumbs Up Korean eatery. This time i had their pork bone soup stew. Its basicly a big pot of pork bone soup with other veggies, rice sticks and noodles simmered. Can easily feed 2-3 people and its only $15.
And of course, no meal at thumbs up is complete without a seafood pancake even though theres already more than enough food.
On a totally unrelated note, i saw a huge can of Red Bull. I didnt know these existed

Blue car, Blue brakes, Blue lugs, White wheels
Friend of mine just threw on his new set of White CR Kai's wrapped in Direzza star specs. So we went and snapped a few pics. Here they are for your viewing pleasure.

Wrong Fitment Crew at D&B
This past weekend, the Wrong Fitment Crew of Toronto organized a relatively unorganized get-together at Dave & Busters. Some of the cars there didnt have a stance at all while others were pretty nice. For some reason, i had my camera with me, so i snapped some pics. Here they are for your viewing pleasure.

T-Bones
T-Bones, located at Midland/Eglinton is a place I've wanted to try for a long time as I have heard a lot of (good and bad) things about it. Yesterday, i just so happened to be in the area so i dropped by for some food. The best way i can describe it is a .... really ghetto steakhouse.
I know the place is called T-Bones but i opted for the sirloin instead, 16 ounces of it. The steak was nothing special but it was still delicious as i was expecting worse. Considering the whole plate was $12, I really cant complain. The fries with gravy were smothered and soaked in grease which resulted in unsurpassed yummy-ness (and a heart attack). If I'm ever "in the hood" again, i will definitely stop by.

Mother's Day Dinner
Yes, its that time again...Mother's Day. For mother's day dinner, our family went to Ginza's Yonge/Steeles location as my dad knows the franchise owner relatively well. The meal started with the usual Japanese miso soup and salad. But things got interesting and quite delicious as the rest of the stuff came.
First up was a sashimi platter. Just the usual with some fancy umi (sea urchin), but the most delectable pieces were the toro, which were fatty bluefin tuna belly. The oily flesh was very flavourful and almost melts in your mouth. I would eat it more often if they weren't $90 per pound at wholesale price or $5/piece (no brag).
Next course was fresh lobster tail sashimi. The claws were made into lobster tempura rolls with mango and butter sauce.
There were also the usual rolls. I dont remember what they were called. One had avocado inside and the other had bbq eel. Topped with salmon and tuna.
The lobster carcass and brains(?) were then simmered into a lobster broth served with udon noodles.
Last but not least, their specialty dessert was a brown sticky rice treat topped with coconut milk and mango slices.
Overall, it was a very delightful meal. The food was excellent and prices were also very reasonable considering what was eaten. I will definitely revisit this or one of their other locations in the future.

Gumball 3000 in Toronto
I've been a fan of the Gumball 3000 for several years now. For those of you unfamilar with the Gumball, it's an annual 3,000 mile international road rally which takes place around the world with really really rich ballers as participants. This is the first time Toronto became one of their check points so i took the opportunity to go check out all the cars when the Gumball crew arrived a few days ago. The rest of my pics can be seem here or as part of FuelRider's coverage.
